Himalayan keeda jadi, also known as cordyceps or Himalayan gold, is a natural herb that is said to have many health benefits. It is a mixed morphology of a fungal head on a caterpillar body, which is where it gets its Indian name, keeda jadi, meaning “insect herb”. It grows naturally in the Chamoli region of Uttarakhand and the Dharchula and Munsiyari regions of Pithoragarh.
